I had the pleasure of reliving the first successful ECMO-2-GO case over lunch with Dr. Donald Hill (left) and Angelo Iatridis, CCP (middle). This team traveled from San Francisco, California to Santa Barbara, California in 1971 to place this patient on#ECLS using the Bramson Oxygenator, pictured next to the patient.
